A Thursday Pull

I thought I would bring back an old post idea, "THE THURSDAY PULL" - and idea that I affectionately borrowed from fellow blogger, The Lost Plum.

A pull is the art of trying to seduce someone- like a pick up line, but more awesome.

Immediately after I entered into an official Facebook relationship, via a napkin contract, I was approached by a young man at a bar.
Boy Wonder: "So, wanna dance?"
Me: "Sure- I love this song."
Boy Wonder: "You are a really good dancer."
Me: "Thanks!"
Boy Wonder: "I scored a perfect on the Verbal portion of the SAT."
Me: "HOW.OLD.ARE.YOU???"
Boy Wonder: "22."
Me: "Um...yeah.  You are going to need new material before you turn 23."

What can I say? I am wildly attractive to baby boys!

  1. Awkward!!! But then again, why IS he still talking about his SAT's at the age of 22?

  2. No way he was 22. He was underage and 22 is the more convincing lie than 21. Freshman year was the only year anyone ever hit on my with their SAT score, so I'm guessing he was 18/19. Well done you!

  4. Ooh, younger men love me too for some reason. I believe we owe it to the younger generation of women to mold these men into something other than the little shits they're headed toward becoming. Thank you for participating with your pickup line advice to Mr. 800 Verbal (if that's even how they score it anymore)!
