I Am Thankful

Each Thanksgiving, people across the country reflect with gratitude on all the important things in life, like family & health.  I, on the other hand, would like to take a moment to thank the less important things in life...
  • I am thankful that Target makes it so affordable to be tacky each Christmas. (yes, every single one of these is currently stationed in my home)

  • I am thankful that I forgot all about making THIS ornament at last year's Ladies Wine & Ornament Making night...Yes, that DOES say "BALLS."
  • I am thankful for Whipped Cream flavored Vodka - it really perks up Hot Cocoa!
  • I am thankful for Amazon Prime. Not only can I get all my toiletries and household goods delivered to my front door without ever putting on a bra, but now they let you "borrow" Kindle books like a library! Hello Free Hunger Games!
  • I am thankful that the my favorite Food Delivery guy doesn't judge me...today he handed me a sandwich, salad, fries, and pasta. (Hey don't YOU judge me - it was lunch AND dinner!)
  • I am thankful for Shit That Siri Says (http://shitthatsirisays.tumblr.com/) - it makes me desperately want to fork over $500 to AT&T & Apple for a phone that will sass me, judge me, and help me get home when drunk!
  • I am thankful that Twilight was so cheesiliciously good - I laughed out loud during 6 inappropriate times. (p.s. I am positive that Stephenie Meyer doesn't know how babies are made)
  • I am thankful that the movie theater now sells Curly Fries! (they are calorically equivalent to a small buttered popcorn...thank you!)
  • I am thankful that I stumbled upon this AWESOME picture of a Honey Badger yesterday.
  • AND - I am thankful that someone besides my mom reads this blog. THANK YOU! (P.S. that was a metaphor, my mom hasn't figured out how to read this yet and I would like to keep it that way...so thanks for not telling her!)

  7. Does the Whipped Cream vodka actually taste good - I mean I love my vodka as much as the next single girl, but the idea of the whipped cream flavour kind of creeps me out a lot.  While I have yet to see the latest installment of Twilight, I have to believe that Stephanie Meyer is in the same mindset as all the 16 and pregnant girls about how babies are born...

  8. I would never drink it straight up or on the rocks...but it spikes a hot drink more efficiently than kahlua or irish cream, boasting 80proof!

  9. Oh - my house is every 8 year olds dream.  BUT I do stop just short of making my own paper snowflakes and glittered pinecones ... so far, at least.

  10. I do love Suri's Burn Book - but a small part of me feels evil every time I giggle at the expense of other famous kiddies! (i'm looking at YOU, Shilo)

  11. Ha! It is good to know we aren't metaphorically alone in all this. ;)  Let's just tell people that we have rare, exotic tastes!
